Letau Designs
I don't know if any of these drawstring scarfs from Philly's Letau Designs would look any good on me, but I love them nonetheless.

Konvertible Kicks
Times is hard and we need shoes that will go the extra mile.
Just discovered two incredible pairs of convertible shoes via Cyanatrend blog
First pair: Nat-2 shoes convert from sneakers into sandals....

Second pair: Goodie 2 Shoes by Natalie Cosette Thorne
Heels with convertible height

The Nat-2 shoes are currently on sale for a pretty tempting price (links on their website), while the Goodies seem to just be prototypes at the moment.

SEIBEI
Every once in a while I come across something that makes me sad I am not really a t-shirt wearer. Via the fabulous Ms. Star, I discovered this hilarious SEIBEI shirt.

Tokyo Girls Collection
(Via Killian Nakamura's blog )
a reported 20,000 girls descended upon the Tokyo Girls fashion extravaganza which, as opposed to Tokyo Fashion Week, puts on display various lines of "real Japanese clothes" that are available to buy IMMEDIATELY.

I love the concept and the clothes are super fun and young. Check it all out here.

Zulema Griffin
Zulema Griffin is a beautiful and talented black designer who was featured on the reality show Project Runway. In true PR style she has broken away from the fashion pack and is doing things her own way by shunning the Bryant Park tents and putting her fashion on Youtube for the masses.
The collection are a bit stark but beautiful, Griffin says the designs were inspired by the classic black church fashion shows, and the big hats make that pretty clear. I must say that the models in full body black catsuits remind me a lit of Leigh Bowery, but that's not a bad thing, as a matter of fact I think that so far it's the wittiest response to the dearth of black models that I've seen.
You can find out more about Zulema and her beautiful designs on her website.

Junk Prints
I recently decided to jump into Etsy. I don't think it is as user friendly or smart as it should be, and so like a fool I stayed away too long, waiting for the day that they would update the interface. That day hasn't come, but I came over to the site anyhow and have been busily trolling through and tagging my favorites and planning future purchases. One seller who is on almsot everyone's fave list is the fabulous Junk Prints.

Junk Prints' Brooklyn-based designer, Chanel Kennebrew, makes awesomely witty shirts, jackets, dresses, and bags in bright bold colors and I want almost everything that she's selling. I want it all now, but unfortunately my pocketbook disagrees with me, so until we can work something out, I'll just be here drooling over (and highlighting as favorites) all the fantastic Junk Prints.

Fighting Eel clothing
The weather is still a bit nippy but I can't stop thinking about bright little dresses. I just came across these beautiful dresses from Fighting Eel, and I am now chomping at the bit for the sun to shine brighter! These remind me of American Aparel dresses but with much more flattering cuts and detail.
